York Chow to visit Guangzhou

*

Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Dr York Chow will lead a delegation for a three-day visit to Guangzhou on April 27.

 

Dr Chow will call on officials from the Department of Health, the Department of Civil Affairs and the Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau.

 

He will also visit the Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, an elderly hostel, a registered chicken farm which supplies Hong Kongm, and a processing plant for chilled chickens.

 

The delegation includes Director of Social Welfare Paul Tang, Deputy Secretary for Health, Welfare & Food Susie Ho, Centre for Health Protection Consultant Dr Thomas Tsang, and Assistant Director of Food & Environmental Hygiene Dr Thomas Chung.
