Real-time photos showing the weather at tourist spots, Tsim Sha Tsui and Cheung Chau, are now at your fingertips thanks to the launch of an innovative service on the Hong Kong Observatory website.
The move enhances weather information for tourists and day-trippers. Photos, taken between 7am and 7pm daily, will show the latest weather conditions.

Photos will be updated every 15 minutes. Animations of weather photos for the past three hours and some notable weather events of the past are also available.
Cheung Chau is frequented by lovers of natural scenery. Tsim Sha Tsui, apart from having some of the best views of Victoria Harbour, is a very popular shopping spot for tourists.
Tourism Board Executive Director Clara Chong said the innovative weather service can help visitors better plan their trips and have a more enjoyable time in the city. She said the new service will also help reinforce Hong Kong's image as an advanced cosmopolitan city.
Travel Industry Council Executive Director Joseph Tung said the photos can serve travel agents and tourist guides in planning itineraries.
