Hunghom Peninsula's developers were today issued a Government letter reminding them of the site's conditions of sale.

It said there can be no redevelopment except in accordance with the master layout plans, and any redevelopment must also be in compliance with other special conditions. Consent of the Director of Lands must be obtained before the start of building works.

The Government urged the developers to respond positively to public concerns over their redevelopment plan, and should not proceed on the premise that consents or approvals by the director will be given or lease modifications agreed.
