The Lotteries Fund allocated $75,017,400 to finance various social welfare service programmes from July to September, the Social Welfare Department says.
Social welfare support services received $63 million, family and child welfare services got $5,476,900, rehabilitation services got $3,757,500, elderly and medical social services received $2.783 million.
The fund was established to finance, by way of grants, loans or advances, the operation or development of social welfare services and medical or educational projects with a welfare content.
