Police have rejected press reports suggesting bloodworms found in some Leisure & Cultural Services Department swimming facilities developed in the pool water.

Police said investigations into the source of the worms are ongoing and all factors are being studied, with officers meeting with staff of the five affected pools and awaiting evidence from experts.
