Cheep treat: A roving exhibition on common wild birds will be held in six major parks from December 6 to January 11.

Bird lovers, be sure to catch the roving exhibition on common wild birds to be held in six major parks from December 6 to January 11.

 

Organised by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department, the show aims to arouse public interest in bird watching and enhance environmental awareness.

 

It will introduce the basic skills of bird watching and display photos and descriptions of over 20 species of common birds.

 

The first exhibition will be held at the Zoological & Botanical Gardens in Central on December 6 and 7 from 10am to 4pm.

 

Visitors can also join guided tours to see animal enclosures and the food preparation centre. In the education room, they can touch the animal specimens. There will also be activities and games for children. Prizes and souvenirs will be given out while stocks last.
