If you want to air your views on tougher penalties for repeat cleanliness offenders, take the opportunity before December 23.
The public consultation exercise launched on October 23 on the proposed new penalties for repeat cleanliness offenders has been extended for a month.
The Health, Welfare & Food Bureau said there has been considerable public concern about the subject. The decision to extend the consultation period was made in response to public demand.
Copies of the consultation pamphlet are available at all District Offices and the Food & Environmental Hygiene Department. Or download them here: Health, Welfare and Hygiene Bureau, FEHD.
