Correctional Services Autumn Fair set for Nov 8
*
Correctional Services Department

The Correctional Services Department Sports Association will hold its 51st Autumn Fair on November 8, featuring the sale of products made by inmates of penal institutions. The public is welcome to share in the fun for a good cause.

Products including arts and handicrafts, toys, and rattan and wooden furniture will be on sale at about 40 stalls. The proceeds will be donated to various charities.

The fair, bearing the theme Hand-in-Hand We Care, aims to build community support for and participation in efforts to reintegrate rehabilitated offenders into society.

Apart from sale of products, performances by popular singers Edwin Siu, Maggie Fu and Denise Ho and the groups Shine and 2R will also be featured.

Children's choir, jazz dancing, marching band and lion dance performances are also planned, while the department's Dog Unit will give a demonstration.

The fair will take place from 11am to 5pm in the football field next to Stanley Prison. Admission is free.

Stanley Prison is accessible by bus routes 6, 6X, 63, 73, 260 and 973 and green minibus routes 40 and 52.
