To give more people the chance to view Mars, the Space Museum will continue to provide free observation facilities on August 28 and 29 for the public.
The red planet is at its closest to Earth and is now the brightest object in the night sky after the moon.
Observation facilities will be set up at the podium of the Museum of Art in Tsim Sha Tsui for both days.
The observation will start at 7.30pm, subject to weather conditions. The number of viewers will be limited to 1,000 people a day due to limited space. Admission coupons will be distributed from 6pm on a first-come-first-served basis.
The observation will be arranged for next Wednesday as scheduled, subject to weather conditions.
