Probe into Dragonair accident underway

The Civil Aviation Department is conducting an inspector's investigation into the cause of the Dragonair accident on July 18.

 

On that day, an A330-300 aircraft, with registration B-HYA,  encountered severe upper air turbulence on its way from Kota Kinabalu to Hong Kong. Six crew members and three passengers were injured.

 

Anyone wishing to make a statement relating to the circumstances or cause of the accident can send a fax to 2501 0640, call 2867 4203 or write to the department's Chief Inspector of Accidents at 46/F, Queensway Government Offices, Queensway within 14 days.
