Equestrian venues to get weather forecasts
*
HK Observatory

The Hong Kong Observatory will provide detailed weather analysis and forecasts for the Beijing 2008 Olympic equestrian venues in Hong Kong.

Speaking on a radio talk show today the Observatory's Acting Director Wai Hon Gor said it will provide detailed weather analysis and forecasts hourly, including temperature, humidity and wind speed at the two equestrian venues at Sha Tin and Beas River.

Mr Wai also noted continuing cold weather over the next two to three days. Temperatures are expected to gradually rise early next week. But cold air is expected to return to Hong Kong next weekend.
