February saw 24 pollution convictions, the Environmental Protection Department says.
Fifteen were for air pollution, five for illicit waste disposal, three for noise issues, and one for water pollution.
The heaviest fine was $100,000, meted out to a company which used powered mechanical equipment without a valid construction noise permit.
