There were 34 convictions for polluters in October, the Environmental Protection Department says.
Thirteen of the convictions were for air pollution, 12 for noise and nine for waste disposal.
The heaviest fine was $75,000, for a company that carried out asbestos works for which it failed to appoint a registered contractor, or whereby the contractor failed to discharge his duties.
