Three of the four beaches open to swimmers all year round have been rated 'good' for this weekend, according to the Environmental Protection Department's latest beach water quality grading.
They are Clear Water Bay Second, Deep Water Bay and Golden Beaches. Silverstrand Beach is rated 'fair'. There was no change when compared with the grading released last week. All the beaches are equipped with shark nets.
Seven gazetted beaches - Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido - are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.
For updates on beach water quality, see the department's website, or call the beach hotline, 2511 6666.
