Weather information from Green Island is now available online, the Hong Kong Observatory says.

The island's Automatic Weather Station, off the northwestern corner of Hong Kong Island, is the first in Victoria Harbour to be powered by both solar and wind energy.

It now offers updates around the clock on the weather situation in the western island and harbour area at the click of a mouse. It joins Automatic Weather Stations across Hong Kong, which provide online data.
