26 beaches rated 'good' this weekend
*
Environmental Protection Department

Water quality at 26 beaches has been rated 'good' for this weekend in the Environmental Protection Department's latest gradings. Three are 'fair', while one is 'poor'.

Compared with last week, Clear Water Bay Second Beach, Ma Wan Tung Wan Beach, Silver Mine Bay Beach and Silverstrand Beach have changed from fair to good. The changes are generally within the normal range of fluctuation of the bacteriological water quality of the beaches.

Kadoorie Beach is still rated as 'poor'.

Seven gazetted beaches - Anglers', Approach, Ting Kau, Casam, Gemini, Hoi Mei Wan and Lido - are closed to swimmers year round because of poor water quality.

For more information visit the department's website, or call 2511 6666.
