People planning a visit to Peng Chau can now get more weather information on the island from the Hong Kong Observatory's Regional Weather webpage.

The data includes temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction, and real-time weather photos are provided also to view the conditions.

Observatory Director Lam Chiu-ying said the island's tranquil environment and diversified ecology make it a popular destination for lovers of natural scenery. He said the new service will provide the island's latest weather information to the public.

Tourism Board Executive Director Clara Chong welcomed the service, adding it will help visitors better plan their travel and enhance their time in Hong Kong.
