The Environmental Protection Department has rated water quality at Deep Water Bay and Clear Water Bay Second beaches 'good', while Golden and Silverstrand beaches are rated 'fair'.

The four beaches, open year round, are equipped with shark nets. There was no change in their grading over last week. Other beaches are closed for the winter season.
