Secretary for Environment, Transport & Works Dr Sarah Liao will visit Australia to promote Hong Kong and its recent economic and infrastructure developments.

During her four-day visit, Dr Liao will call on the Minister for Infrastructure & Planning of the New South Wales Government.

During her stay in Sydney, Dr Liao will visit major local recycling plants, water supply and sewage treatment plants.

On February 15, Dr Liao will attend the Chinese New Year dinner jointly organised by the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Hong Kong-Australia Business Association New South Wales Chapter.

She will also deliver a speech at a luncheon reception on Hong Kong's strategies to improve the water quality of Victoria Harbour and the development of a major public works project.
