The Exchange Fund's foreign assets amounted to $1.93 trillion in March, up $13.8 billion on February, the Monetary Authority says.
The Monetary Base, comprising Certificates of Indebtedness, Government-issued currency notes and coins in circulation, the aggregate balance and Exchange Fund bills and notes issued, amounted to $1.0237 billion.
Claims on the private sector amounted to $94.7 billion. Foreign liabilities, representing mainly obligations under repurchase agreements, amounted to $400 million.
