Eight pre-sale consents were issued in the first quarter - six for residential units and two for commercial developments - the Lands Department says.

The residential consents involve 2,445 uncompleted units, including 1,029 units in four developments on Tai Hang Road, in Tai Po, Tsing Lung Tau and the West Kowloon reclamation area which are due to be completed between May and December.

One development in Tung Chung and one in Sha Tin, comprising 1,416 units, are estimated to be completed from January to May next year.

At the end of last month, 12 applications for consent to sell uncompleted residential units and one for an uncompleted commercial development were being processed. They involved 4,278 units, in which four developments of 374 units will be completed this year, six developments involving 3,790 units will be completed next year, while the estimated completion dates of two developments involving 114 units are to be updated by the developers.

Two applications for consent to assign involving a total of 3,048 completed residential units and one application for consent to assign for a completed commercial development are being processed.
