Monetary Authority

The composite interest rate remained steady at 0.11% at the end of January, after staying unchanged in December last year, the Monetary Authority says.

The month saw time deposit rates with a maturity of one year fall 0.28 basis points, while local interbank offering rates with maturities of three months or longer dropped 0.9 to 12 basis points.

Past data of the composite interest rate is available from the authority's Monthly Statistical Bulletin.
