The Advisory Committee on Bond Market Development has been formed to guide the Government on matters relating to the promotion of the further and sustainable development of the local bond market.

The Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury has been appointed the committee chairman while four ex-officio members and six non-official members have been named.

Non-official members are Ignatius Chan, Anita Fung, Frank Kwong, Lawrence Lam, Prof Raymond So and Sally Wong.

Ex-officio members include the Permanent Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury (Financial Services), the Under Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury, and Monetary Authority and Securities & Futures Commission members.
