Views sought on PCCW licence condition
*
Office of the Telecommunications Authority

The Office of the Telecommunications Authority today issued a consultation paper seeking public views on the arrangement of a special condition under the fixed carrier licence held by PCCW.

The condition states any amendments to specific published tariffs of PCCW on interconnection must be approved by the Telecommunications Authority.

PCCW's fixed carrier licence will expire in June.

The two possible options in the consultation are removing the special condition, or keeping it but removing individual tariff items governed by the condition on a case-by-case basis.

Views or comments should be submitted by February 4. Click here to read the consultation document.
