The Customs & Excise Department today reminded importers and exporters shipment declarations in the new year must be completed according to the amended classification made to the current edition of the classification list.

The amendments, gazetted November 20, involve 22 commodity items, such as fish, edible oils, fermented beverages, hygiene and chemical preparations, plastics, textiles, clothing accessories, metal articles, machinery, electric apparatus, meters as well as X-ray apparatus. The Appendix II is also amended.
