Cyberport signs agreement with New Zealand

Done deal: Cyberport Chief Executive Officer Nicholas Yang and New Zealand Institute for Screen Innovation Chair Michael Stephens sign an agreement to export Cyberport's expertise to New Zealand.

*

Hong Kong Cyberport will export its intellectual property and expertise to New Zealand under a deal signed today in Wellington and witnessed by Permanent Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (Communications & Technology) Duncan Pescod and officials from CreateHK.

The Cyberport Management Company signed the deal with the Wellington City Council and New Zealand Institute for Screen Innovation to share Cyberport's knowledge, know-how, processes and services to accelerate the development of New Zealand's first Digital Innovation Hub. It will be located in a purpose-built building in the New Zealand capital.

This is the first formal agreement Cyberport has signed to export its intellectual property and expertise to another country.
