The Department of Health has made steady progress in the registration of proprietary Chinese medicine and has formed a draft implementation plan for the required law provisions.
At the Business Facilitation Advisory Committee's meeting today, the department said continuous efforts have been made to facilitate the trade's better understanding of the registration requirements, and the sector will be consulted later on the implementation plan.
Meanwhile, the committee has welcomed the Government's proposed new initiatives to optimise the use of industrial buildings to meet Hong Kong's changing economic and social needs.
