The third quarter saw 19 land transactions involving a total premium of $771.63 million.

The Lands Department registered 15 lease modifications and two land exchanges, eight being modifications of a technical nature involving nil premium. Seven are on Hong Kong Island, five in Kowloon and five in the New Territories. The transactions exclude small-house cases.

Another two lots were granted by private treaty - one for a Kowloon electricity substation and the other for a Housing Authority public housing development.
