Clement Chen to chair Productivity Council
*

The Chief Executive has appointed Federation of Hong Kong Industries Chairman Clement Chen to replace Andrew Leung as Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council.

 

Mr Chen's term is two years, starting July 1. Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Rita Lau welcomes the appointment.

 

"The Productivity Council will benefit from Mr Chen's strong industrial background and commitment towards upgrading local industry," she said today.

 

Mr Chen was previously deputy chairman of the Vocational Training Council, as well as a member of the Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
