Rita Lau will pay her firsty duty visit to Beijing as Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development September 16 to 18 to visit ministries and departments responsible for policy portfolios including trade and commerce, tourism, technology, intellectual property, and broadcasting and film.

Under Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Gregory So,  Permanent Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development (Commerce, Industry & Tourism) Yvonne Choi, Deputy Commissioner for Tourism Joey Lam and Director-General of Telecommunications Marion Lai will also join the visit.

They will meet officials from various ministries and state organisations. They will also visit the Hong Kong & Macau Affairs Office.
