The Financial Secretary has appointed Malcolm Barnett and Susan Wong Market Misconduct Tribunal members for proceedings relating to possible market misconduct in the listed securities of the Mobicon Group in 2004.

Mr Barnett is a legal consultant and company director while Ms Wong is a practising solicitor and a consultant of Messrs Edward Ko & Company.

Both are familiar with Hong Kong's financial market operation. They will sit on the tribunal chaired by Court of First Instance judge Justice Lunn, who has been reappointed by the Chief Executive for three years from August 31.

The hearing will begin at 9.30am on October 13, with dates reserved until November 7, at the tribunal in Room 702, Tower Two, Lippo Centre, 89 Queensway.
