Hong Kong, Guangdong and Macau plan to produce an intellectual property booklet to enable the public and enterprises to obtain related information and attract investment, Director of Intellectual Property Stephen Selby says.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong Expert Group on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights held its seventh meeting in Hong Kong today.
Both sides agreed to enhance intellectual property exploitation and management of enterprises to strengthen their exchange on the flow of business. Seminars on intellectual property and small and medium enterprise development will be organised in Guangdong.
They also reviewed the latest intellectual property developments and co-operation items completed, including joint production of an Announcement in the Public Interest on the No Fakes Pledge Scheme, roundtable discussion for intellectual property agents and the co-operation column in their official websites.
