HK calling: Financial Secretary John Tsang exchanges souvenirs with the Bank of Slovenia Governor Dr Marko Kranjec.

Hong Kong is an ideal location for Slovenian companies to raise capital and diversify their fundraising activities by making full use of the city's expertise and contacts, Financial Secretary John Tsang says.

Speaking in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana today Mr Tsang said Hong Kong's expertise, technology, communications and transport infrastructure could help Slovenian companies to set up in the East Asia region.

Mr Tsang met the Bank of Slovenia Governor Dr Marko Kranjec before holding talks with the Minister of the Economy Andrej Vizjak and the Minister of Finance Dr Andrej Bajuk.
