Hongkong Post Logistics Centre in Tuen Mun has opened to provide warehousing and logistics services for China Post Logistics Company clients.

Opening the centre today Postmaster General Tam Wing-pong said the facility's establishment is an important milestone in logistics collaboration between Hongkong Post and the company.

Noting logistics is one of new revenue streams of Hongkong Post, Mr Tam said with the high standard warehousing facility and dedicated warehousing expertise, Hongkong Post will provide a smooth integrated postal and commercial solution to logistics clients.

"The establishment of the new Logistics Centre totally demonstrates our value to excel through development and our mission of proactively responding to changing market requirements. We look forward to future co-operation opportunities with China Post Logistics in different areas such as transhipping their logistics items from Mainland to overseas destinations using our infrastructure."
