The Lands Department issued one consent in February, for the sale of 2,096 residential units. The residential development, in Tseung Kwan O, is expected to be completed in June 2009.

At the end of last month, there were 23 applications pending approval. Of these, 18 were for consent to sell residential units and five for consent to sell commercial developments.

The applications for consent to sell residential units being processed involve a total of 8,391 units. Nine applications, involving 3,616 units, are expected to be completed this year, and the remaining nine applications, involving 4,775 units, are expected to be completed in 2009.
