Edward Chan has been reappointed a non-executive director of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority for two years from March 17.

Hailing Mr Chan's performance the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau looked forward to his continuing contribution to the authority.

The authority, established in September 1998, is the statutory body responsible for the regulation of the Mandatory Provident Fund system. It also regulates occupational retirement schemes established by employers on a voluntary basis.
