LPG ceiling prices to rise
*
Electrical & Mechanical Services Department

Liquefied-petroleum gas ceiling prices at dedicated filling stations will rise 56 to 57 cents a litre to range from $4.51 to $4.89 a litre in January.

The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department said the adjustment reflects the movement of LPG international prices in December.

Prices are adjusted according to a specified formula with two elements - the LPG international price of the preceding month and LPG operating price. The LPG operating price will be adjusted on the first day of February every year according to movement in the Composite Consumer Price Index in the previous year.

Details of LPG international prices and auto LPG ceiling price of each dedicated LPG filling station are available here.
