Lands Department

The tender for four petrol filling stations at Peak, Castle Peak, Princess Margaret and Waterloo Roads has been awarded to three companies on a 21-year land grant for a total premium of $400.1 million.

The tender of the two sites at Peak Road and Castle Peak Road near Fui Sha Wai was awarded to Sinopec (HK) Limited at $50.8 million and $60.8 million.

The tender of the site at Princess Margaret Road was awarded to Shell Developments (HK) Limited at $238 million, and the site at Waterloo Road was awarded to ExxonMobil HK Limited at $50.5 million.

The Central Tender Board's authority was given to the Lands Department to award the sites to the highest tenderers.

The successful tenders were submitted on individual basis for the purchase of the four sites. These sites are existing, re-tendered sites for the development of petrol filling stations.
