Secretary for Commerce & Economic Development Frederick Ma will visit Beijing and Shanghai from November 14 to attend meetings and activities related to tourism, commerce and the creative industry.

In Beijing he will lead a delegation of representatives from Hong Kong's Tourism Commission, Tourism Board and Travel Industry Council to meet China National Tourism Administration officials. He will also visit the Ministry of Commerce.

In Shanghai the next day he will join a delegation from Hong Kong's creative industry. He will participate in the 2007 Shanghai International Creative Industry Week to showcase Hong Kong's developments and achievements in creative industries, speaking at the opening ceremony and at a dinner hosted by the organisers.

On November 16 he will participate in seminars on Hong Kong's creativeness and share views with industry professionals from Hong Kong and the Mainland on the development of creative industries.
