There were 838 bankruptcy petitions presented in June, down 18.4% from the May figure of 1,027, and down 5.8% compared with last year's average monthly figure of 890.
The Official Receiver's Office said during the month, the court made 826 bankruptcy orders, down 10.2% from the previous month's figure of 920, and a drop of 3.9% on the average monthly figure of 860 last year.
