Liquefied petroleum gas ceiling prices for dedicated filling stations will rise 13 cents a litre in June, to range from $3.21 to $3.59.
The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department said the June 1 adjustment reflects the movement of LPG international prices in May. It is made according to the terms and conditions in the stations' contracts.
Prices are adjusted according to a specified formula, which has two elements - the LPG international price of the preceding month and LPG operating price. The LPG operating price will be adjusted on the first day of February each year according to the movement in the Composite Consumer Price Index in the previous year.
Details of LPG international prices and the auto LPG ceiling price of each dedicated LPG filling station are available here.
