Sarah Liao to visit Abu Dhabi, Dubai
*

Secretary for the Environment, Transport & Works Dr Sarah Liao is leading a delegation on a four-day visit to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to learn about the construction environment and business opportunities in the Middle East.

They will meet officials from Abu Dhabi Municipality and its Department of Planning & Economy, and Dubai Municipality and its Electricity & Water Authority.

The visit will establish networks with the local authorities and see the exchange of views on the government's set-up for planning and development, and the administration and implementation of projects. It will also create a platform to help the construction industry gain greater access to the Middle East market.

The delegation will return to Hong Kong on May 30.
