The Symphony of Lights show will feature rooftop pyrotechnics displays on both sides of Victoria Harbour May 1 to 5 to celebrate Labour Day Golden Week.
Rooftop pyrotechnic displays were previously only displayed on Hong Kong Island, but will be extended to cover buildings on Kowloon side also.
The best viewing points include Golden Bauhinia Square in Wan Chai, as well as the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Public address systems have been erected at these vantage points to broadcast the synchronised soundtrack during show time.
From May 1, the Standard Chartered Bank Building and Bank of America Tower on Hong Kong Island, as well as Harbour City and Oterprise Square in Tsim Sha Tsui, will join the show, further enriching the content of what the Guinness World Records calls the "world's largest permanent light and sound show".
Spectators can listen to the synchronised soundtrack by tuning in to FM103.4 (English), FM106.8 (Cantonese) or FM107.9 (Putonghua); or via their mobile phones by dialing 3566 5665 (English) or 3566 5668 (Putonghua).
