There were 801 bankruptcy petitions in February, down 20.4% on January's figure of 1,006, and a 10％ dip on last year's average monthly figure of 890.

The Official Receiver's Office said the court made 645 bankruptcy orders during the month, down 49.1% from the previous month's figure of 1,268, and a drop of 25% on the average monthly figure of 860 last year.
