Henry Tang to present Budget Wednesday
*

Financial Secretary Henry Tang will present the 2007-08 Budget to the Legislative Council tomorrow. It will be broadcast live on television and radio, and on the Budget website. For details click here.

 

Copies of the speech and other related documents will be released on the Budget website, and at 20 Home Affairs Department Public Enquiry Service Centres and at Murray Building in Central.

 

A Budget leaflet will also be distributed at:

* the Queensway, North Point and Tsuen Wan Government Offices; and the Immigration, Revenue, Wan Chai and Trade & Industry Department Towers.

* Labour Department offices at Revenue Tower, the Western Magistracy Building, North Point Government Offices, Stelux House in San Po Kong, and the Cheung Sha Wan, Mong Kok, Kowloon East and Kwai Hing Government Offices.

* 12 Mass Transit Railway stations - Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Tai Koo, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Wong Tai Sin, Kwun Tong, Kwai Fong, Tsuen Wan, Po Lam and Tsing Yi.

* Five East Rail stations - Hung Hom, Kowloon Tong, Sha Tin, Tai Wo and Sheung Shui.

* Three West Rail stations - Nam Cheong, Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun;

* HSBC Main Building in Central;

* Times Square in Causeway Bay;

* Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui; and,

* 64 shopping centres in public housing estates.
