The 23 land transactions recorded in the fourth quarter of 2006 realised a total land premium of $4.17 billion.

The Land Registry recorded 16 lease modifications and four land exchanges, of which eight were residential and 12 non-residential developments.

Seven are on Hong Kong Island, eight in Kowloon and the rest in the New Territories. The transactions exclude small house cases.

Another three lots were granted by private treaty.
