Frederick Ma arrives in Hunan

*

A delegation led by the Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury Frederick Ma has arrived in Changsha for a three-day promotional visit to bolster economic co-operation between Hunan and Hong Kong.

 

The delegation comprises more than 100 prominent figures representing 90 enterprises and institutions. They include the banking, securities and insurance industries, venture capital investment and private equity funds, accounting and legal professions, Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing and the Securities & Future Commission.

 

The delegation today met Hunan Secretary Zhang Chunxian, Governor Zhou Bohua and other senior officials.

 

They will attend seminars and presentations to exchange views on business co-operation. HKEx will hold a seminar to encourage Hunan enterprises to use Hong Kong's well-established financial market for listing and financing.

 

They will also visit a vehicle manufacturer and an air-conditioner company.
