A report offering a complete picture of Hong Kong's direct investment situation in 2004 is now on sale, the Census & Statistics Department says.

External Direct Investment Statistics of Hong Kong 2004 contains detailed statistics including inward and outward direct investment by investor country and territory, direct investors' opinions on Hong Kong's investment environment and more detailed information on external direct investment in Hong Kong.

As from reference year 1998, a complete set of external direct investment statistics of Hong Kong is available annually. The external direct investment statistics are compiled based on data from the department's Survey of External Claims, Liabilities and Income, supplemented by data from other sources.

The report, at $41 per issue, is on sale at Hong Kong Statistical Bookstore which offers 25% off for the download version and 15% off for the print version. The Government Bookstore also sells the print version of the report at 85% of its original price.
