Hong Kong and American customs officers will inspect local factories for two weeks from November 7.
Customs & Excise Department Trade Controls Head Raymond Wong said the visits will keep the US up to date on the manufacture of textiles and clothing products in Hong Kong, and the implementation of the origin control programme for textiles and clothing exports.
The visits will not disrupt the factories' normal operation.
