Secretary for Commerce, Industry & Technology John Tsang will attend the PT/Wireless & Networks Comm China 2005 in Beijing on October 20.

Running October 18 to 22, the event is one of the largest exhibitions in information and telecommunications products and services in Asia.

Mr Tsang will visit an exhibition booth set up by the Hong Kong Government to promote ITU Telecom World 2006, which will be held in Hong Kong in December next year.

On October 21 Mr Tsang will launch the Mainland marketing drive for ITU Telecom World 2006. He will meet the media and information and communication technology enterprises and invite them to participate in the event.
